Sono nata per insegnare. I was born to teach.
Mi chiamo Melania, ho 29 anni e insegno italiano a stranieri. Ho una passione enorme per la mia lingua e un'anima da viaggiatrice: vivo in Sicilia ma amo muovermi, sono una digital nomad che passa la maggior parte del tempo in Italia ma che spesso è in giro per il mondo — e a volte incontro i miei studenti dal vivo, ovunque si trovino.
Insegno italiano da quasi 5 anni. Credo che questo sia il mio ikigai: il punto esatto dove ciò che amo, ciò che so fare e ciò di cui il mondo ha bisogno si incontrano.
Ho studiato all'Università di Catania (Triennale e Magistrale in Inglese e Spagnolo), ho un Master in didattica dell'italiano L2 e la certificazione DILS-PG dell'Università degli Studi di Perugia. Parlo italiano, inglese e spagnolo, e sto studiando francese e russo — perché un insegnante non smette mai di essere studente.

My name is Melania, I'm 29, and I teach Italian to foreigners. I have a huge passion for my language and a traveller's soul: I live in Sicily but I love to move — I'm a digital nomad who spends most of her time in Italy but is often out exploring the world, sometimes meeting my students in person wherever they happen to be.
I've been teaching Italian for almost 5 years. I believe this is my ikigai: the precise point where what I love, what I'm good at, and what the world needs all meet.
I studied at the University of Catania (BA and MA in English and Spanish), I hold a Master's in teaching Italian as a second language and the DILS-PG certification from the University of Perugia. I speak Italian, English and Spanish, and I'm learning French and Russian — because a teacher never stops being a student.

Melania is a very gifted teacher and her lively, open and friendly demeanour and unlimited materials help you learn almost without realising — time passes very quickly. She provides helpful corrections and also speaks great English, so she can help you straightaway. I highly recommend.
